Wolverine for Strands of Fate

Of the characters I’ve written up, only Superman has more Physical Stress boxes than Wolverine, and Wolvie heals faster. When Wolvie Charges and uses Crippling Blow with his claws, he’s looking at WR +11, which is almost as much as Superman’s Galaxy-class Strength gives him. If you count in extra successes from Battle Frenzy, and maybe spend a Fate Point to activate Wolverine’s Conviction, he’s doing just as much damage, and at a lower Power Level. Do not get on this man’s bad side.

Rogue for Strands of Fate

Superman’s sheer power level is tough to reflect in any game system, but Rogue’s power is so unique and weird, that it’s tough to write up. I think I did a pretty good job here,  though!

Rogue is one of my favorite Marvel characters. Aside from her sweet charm and tragic backstory, her power can completely turn the tables in any fight; and if that doesn’t work, well, she’s tough enough to just beat you to a pulp with her fists. Rogue has it all.
